100% one-to-one with your Doctor of Physical Therapy.

You deserve 100% access to the clinical knowledge, expertise, and experience of your Doctor of Physical Therapy. This is our higher Standard of Care. We will always take into account your recent activities, workload, goals, and perform a physical examination to determine the best approach to reach your goals.

We understand that you know your body best. If you have a particular treatment session goal in mind, choose a Goal Driven Physical Therapy Session to tell us what you want when you schedule online (Online scheduling available after first appointment). 

Per session price: $225.

Goal Driven Physical Therapy Sessions: You’re in control 

Standard Session

You and Erik determine the type of session you need that day in person. Erik will base interventions off of skilled assessment and interviewing you about how you feel, your progress, and what your goals are.

Build

Build sessions are designed to make you more resilient, impact proof, and powerful. In these sessions, you will get skilled exercise prescription including strength training, plyometric training, flexibility exercise, agility, balance, and coordination training geared to meet your goals. Exercises are selected based upon physical assessment and your past, present, and future goals. The intent is that you take home a plan, better movement quality, and an effective exercise program.

Recover

Big workouts and competition require dedicated recovery in order to reap the benefits that will result in improved performance. Recovery sessions are specifically designed to help you recover and adapt to your hard work. Hands on and augmented soft tissue techniques, low intensity movement, breath work, and passive stretching are part of creating the physiological state for your best recovery.

Tune-up

Many factors influence how your body feels. Getting the right blend of recovery and movement intensity to get your muscle tension right is the goal of the tune up. Tune up sessions blend recovery strategies and utilize appropriate movement intensities to get your body feeling back on track, so you can keep doing what you love feeling good.

Multi-session packages are available at a reduced visit rate. Talk to Erik or Kathryn at your first appointment to determine a plan right for you.

Running Consultation

In-Person Running

Get an hour one-on-one to run with Erik, share your running goals, and learn how different training runs should feel. Erik has worked with runners of all levels, and he understands training theory and training programming. Having a purpose for each run, and learning to feel the difference between easy and hard efforts is critical to achieving consistent training. Erik will develop a short-term training plan based upon your goals and running experience that helps you manage your training load to maintain consistency and remain injury resistant.

Running Performance

Strength and conditioning. Mobility and running drills. Gait analysis.

Level up your running performance with supplemental training catered to your needs. Gait analysis can reveal technical aspects of your stride for improvement. Boost your injury resistance and running economy through strength and conditioning.

Virtual/Phone Consultation

Share your running goals and running background with Erik, so he can help you plan your next training cycle. Receive a customized training plan that helps you monitor your workload to keep you in your optimal training window or sweet spot. Training load management is critical to managing injury risk and training consistently to improve your performance.

 Bike Fit

Fitting your bike to how you move matters. We make adjustments to reduce your risk of repetitive strain from the cleats up to the handlebars through a systematic approach.

Experiencing dysfunction or pain on your bike? Bike fits are reimbursable. 

How Much Does it Cost?

 $225 / hour. Does not include the price of replacement parts. If replacement parts are needed, and we don’t have what you need, we will recommend the part(s) needed to make the necessary adjustments for a better bike fit.

ACL Prehab

6 sessions to evaluate and apply movement training and exercise interventions to reduce your risk of ACL injury. Leave with a plan.

6 sessions to evaluate and reinforce your body for the upcoming winter season.

Payment Options

IRON HORSE PT AND PERFORMANCE is a fee for service provider. Cash, check, credit card, HSA (health savings account), or FSA (flex spending accounts) are accepted forms of payment. Use your out of network (OON) health insurance benefits for medically necessary care. For OON insurance reimbursement, you can request a super bill from us, in writing, to submit to your insurance company.
